A Blaufränkish sparkling Rosé from Weingut Strehn (think light and mineral-driven, like Gamay) from 35 yr old vines from limestone. Bouquet of red apples, strawberries and raspberries, with hints of vanilla and cherry. On the palate is crispy, juicy and refreshing, with a lively and elegant acidity. AND THEN.... a still Rosé A surfer at heart, Claus Preisinger has been making wine on the north shore of Lake Neusiedl in the Burgenland town of Gols since 2002.
