named after the local, Catanese family of (daughter) Sandra, Rosario (Rori) & his wife Cinzia Parasiliti – esSeRCi! – SRC Vini started out In 2013 when Cinzia & Rori Parasiliti were inspired to buy a small vineyard because of an old family friend, Alberto Aiello Graci, whose cantina they had visited in 2010.

The first three vintages were made in a garage near the vineyard. Since then they have steadily grown and acquired many small vineyards on the northern slopes of the Mount Etna, now totaling 18ha throughout Contradas Crasà, Calderara, Rivaggi, Pirao, Barbabecchi, & Rinazzo. Elevation from 600m to over 1000m featuring steep slopes and terraced vines from 60 years to over 100 years old. Everything is done biodynamically and concrete is favored in the winemaking and ageing process. SRC produces 10 wines including a handful of single vineyard expressions.⁣

as rare as it gets for an Etna Rosso - Grand Cru level from a tiny plot with miniscule production (we were very lucky to get our hands on 6 bottles).

Nerello Mascalese from a .5ha vineyard in Contrada Barbabecchi at 900m. The wine macerates for 3 weeks, spends 5 months in a Clayver (ceramic vessel) followed by 2 years in bottle. 800 bottles produced.⁣
