Oh la laaa. This is a step up from the Quarterons we offer by Riffault and a little more extreme; what-a-wine!
We’re in the same beautiful biodynamic vineyards around the village of Sancerre, coming from the same impressive 70 year old Sauvignon Blanc vines, but these grapes get even more hanging time and are introduced even more to botrytis, or noble rot. This is orange in color, because of 25% of the grapes having botrytis. They are then fermented in neutral, old barrels for 24(!) months before being bottled; luscious, honeysuckle, seducing, amazing, buy it before we drink it all!
