Francois Morissette has a career in winemaking almost as long as his ponytail. After 15 years of making wine under the tutelage of some of the greatest winemakers of Burgundy, Francois set up shop on the shores of Lake Ontario, Canada. Many of the greatest wines in the world come from soils where it is a struggle for vines to plant their roots and thrive. This Chardonnay is no different - clawed from the sand, clay, silt, and limestone of his ever-growing vineyards. Aromas of toasted green pears stand tall on the nose while zesty lemongrass, lively citrus, and stoney minerality dance hand in hand in hand on the palette.
