Hailing from the north-west prefecture of Niigata, this sake uses the regions characteristic water, collected by the brewery’s well fed by snow melt, to give rise to a silky and smooth body. The kura continues with it’s terroir driven sense by using local rice varieties Gohyaku Mangoku, Hokuriku #12 and Koshi Ibuki milled to 60%. A versatile sake, drink it on it’s own, or pair it with a variety of dishes from appetizers, ceviche, to main dishes such as grilled chicken and roasted fish. This sake is almost too easy to drink!
