100% Nebbiolo - certified organic and minimal sulfur. Vines planted in 2004 in clay & sand soil within La Tartufaia - a truffle forest in the heart of the La Morra. This microclimate creates textbook Barolo with round tannins, intense minerality, pure fruit, and ageability. 80% Serradenari vineyard and 20% from Brunate (purchased fruit). Very finessed, elegant and high toned with cherries, dried herbs and fine tannins.
Negri’s been a force to be reckoned with in male dominated Barolo. At 24 she took over the estate and her Burgundian training shows her ability to showcase Nebbiolo’s potential for elegance without sacrificing it’s infamous power.
