We said the Abusé by Dom. du Pech is something else? Well this... spent 14 years in a 200 year old barrel, waiting to reach the perfect age for bottling! The winemaker likes long elevages, that relieve the wine from its need for any stabilizing chemicals like sulfur. This is powerful in a way we never tasted before and could easily cellar a couple more decades. But with a big, hearty dinner this is already showing it’s colors beautifully.
