Named after Cyril's great-grandmother, from several top parcels of old vines in Marsannay, the bottling is a representation of the village rather than one single vineyard. Cyril's father, Charles, was a visionary in the Burgundy region, as he'd already selected and vinified the best parcels in the 1970s, before Marsannay was even an appellation.
100% Pinot Noir
-100% destemmed and cold macerated.
-After 15 days of fermentation, the wine is aged for one year in barrels (10% new)
-Unfined and unfiltered.
Tasting notes - Old vines and true terroir: Juicy and vibrant, raspberry and underbrush, plums, subtle cocoa, smoke, vanilla bean, perfectly integrated oak, silky softness, Enticing!
