Antonio Lopes Ribiero and Sara Dionisio inherited vines through several generations and nursed them back to health. They were the first to be certified organic in 2000 in the Dão and are also certified biodynamic. This red blend of native varietals spends nine months in used french oak and then three years in stainless steel. Forrest berries, black fruits, fresh. crazy value. Sara is is lovely and gracious and we tasted through her wines with her here at the shop. She survived a devastating fire in 2017 that destroyed half of the vineyards, equipment and stock.
