From vineyards located between Morgon and Fleurie, this is an unfiltered, unchaptalized, unfined, unsulphured wine that is a pure expression of Gamay fruit. Chateau Cambon was an estate gone bankrupt and bought in 1995 by legend Marcel Lapierre and Jean-Claude Chanudet. A vivid crimson-purple in colour. On the nose aromas of red cherries, cassis and strawberries backed up by pleasantly earthy notes. The palate is fresh and juicy, with further red fruit flavours and silky tannins leading to a refreshing finish.
