Although Willamette Valley is known as the home of Pinot Noir in the States, Pinot Blanc does exceptionally well in this warm climate. Barrel-fermented in French oak and aged on its lees, Drew Voit sources from three different parcels for this bottling. Drinks like a well-positioned Burgundian Chard. Generous acidity, cherry blossom, yellow apples, toasty caramel. Give it five/six years more in the bottle or drink now. Just a delight.
