Although Willamette Valley is known as the home of Pinot Noir in the States, Pinot Blanc does exceptionally well in this warm climate.

Drew Voit sources from a single vineyard for this bottling: Meredith Mitchell Vineyard. It was planted by Susan Meredith and Frank Mitchell in 1990, the vineyard sits nestled in the foothills of the Coast Range just outside McMinnville, OR. Rising from 450 - 650 ft in elevation, the soils are a mixture of uplifted marine sediments over fractured basalt, contributing to wines of great complexity.

Drinks like a well-positioned Burgundian Chard / Chablis.

Generous & complex white, kept beautifully in balance with zesty acidity, salinity and modest ABV. Savory palate with notes of cherry blossom, yellow apples, volcanic soil, apricots, chopped herbs and a hint of toasty spice. Can be aged a few years more in the bottle or enjoyed now. Just a delight. Don't drink too cold!
