This sparkling orange wine was born on a sandy, limestone hillside in Emilia Romagna. 100% Ortrugo. Lubigo (or “landslide” in local dialect) is the name of the estate parcel in this wine. The fruit is destemmed and left to ferment spontaneously in vat, with around a week of maceration with the skins before pressing. The wine rests in vat through the winter, undergoing partial malolactic fermentation The result is a fizzy, slightly funky amber colored wine yellow fruit and doughy aromas, balanced with solid acidity and a fresh salinity.
