Elisabetta foradori’s wines are classic and iconic . importer Jules dressier calls them “ immediately striking, gracefully elegant, discerningly tasteful, soberly serious while at the same time wry and playful and above all always generous and sincere” . Describing Elisabetta and her wines seem to be one in the same.
This is her everyday bottling Lezèr ( light ) in the local dialect of Trentino. It’s mostly Teroldego with some other varieties from old vineyards Foradori experiments with. Brief maceration around 24 hours , whole cluster with de-stemming . Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. 90% Teroldego/10% other (primarily Lagrein).
