This is a blend of old vine, hand harvested grapes consisting of 45% Moscatel, 30% Riesling, and 25% Semillon . I fell in love with Leonardo’s wines a few years ago when searching for new wines coming out of Chile and this one is such a testament to the exceptional wines coming out of Chile by a new group of natural winemakers showing you what beauty is here aside from the stereotypes of Malbec. All old bush vines on hillsides some dating over a 100 years old and all dry farmed. This blend comes from a small area that was planted in 1922 it leaps out on the noise with a tropical fruit sense that immediately got me excited when tasting this new vintage. It’s one of those wines that really does a lot. We are really excited to introduce this to you all to enjoy its long, complex finish with bursts of bright acid and mineral qualities. Unfiltered and unfined this white is perfect for the summer months.
