L'Imparfait Maceration White 2019

a cool micro label -

Hinterland Wine Company in Prince Edward County in collaboration with the Québécois restaurateur icon Dave McMillan (Joe Beef).

"A white grape skin contact blend of Savagnin, Gewürztraminer and non-skin contact Chardonnay.….. Twenty-one days for the Savagnin and twenty-four for the Gewürztraminer, but not showing the bitterness that can sometimes come from both varieties when macerated on skins. Wild fuzzy peach, canned mandarin and kombucha nose; really appetizing texture, lingering on tightrope of tannin and acid."(Quench Magazine)

Liten Buffel Perfetto Vineyard Pinot Noir 2018

Liten Buffel is a project by Zack Klug and Patrick Vaughn, making natural wines in US side of Niagara in New York state. They focus on low intervention wines that reflect a sense of place and time, and are minimalists in the cellar, and in the vineyard. All wines are dry, unfined, unfiltered, with no sulfites added. Just foot crushed grapes, settled in old wood and bottled by hand at the proper time. This Pinot Noir needs a few minutes to breath and then opens into this high toned sensation of a Pinot, doing what it does best, giving stage to the terroir, the sense of place.

Rabasco, Colline Pescaresi Lu Cuntaden Rosé  2020

100% Montepulciano from the San Desiderio vineyard.  This wine always reflects the vintage and I can say that it might be the most complex version of Lu Cuntaden rose` yet.  Gentle spice with a floral background and amazing texture, chalky, tart cherry.  We were blown away by this one this year - get on it !
